Project: Foreign Policy Camp
Foreign Policy Camp
In 2009, I served as co-curator and lead designer for an experimental public policy conference, the first of its kind in Canada, called Foreign Policy Camp with Simon Fraser University‘s Canada’s World and a set of national partners. Our aim was to engage participants using non-traditional methods, including a variety of collaborative digital interfaces, livestreams and workshops.
Over 300 policymakers, civil servants and students from across Canada were in attendance, and a high level of satisfaction was cited in participant feedback. The event was also featured in a documentary about the Canada’s World project.
